Bishop’s Stortford Carnival Parade
Bishop’s Stortford Carnival Parade features dance troupes, marching bands, 35 floats, walking groups and performers. It doesn’t matter if you are participating or watching from the sidelines you are guaranteed to have fun.
The Bishop’s Stortford Carnival Parade will start at 12:30 from the Rhodes Arts Centre, then proceed through South Street, Potter Street, Market Square, North Street and Northgate End, finishing on the Link Road at approximately 13:20. The parade will return to Sworders Field where the Mayor will hand out prizes for the best parade entries.
Bishop’s Stortford Carnival Fun Day
The Carnival Fun Day has over a 100 community groups and organisations taking part. The Bishop’s Stortford Carnival Fun Day has a fun fair, lots of market stalls, theatre performances, dance performances, live music a Classic Car Show and lots of entertainment for adults and kids.
There are lots of food and drink stores and a Mobile Bar. There are also community games like 3 legged race, hula hoop race and more to join in the fun on. There is a dog show, inflatables for the kids, pony rides and you will see stilt walkers wandering around.

Bishop’s Stortford is about a 50 minute drive from London. There are plenty of trains and buses that run there and the closest airport is London Stansted Airport.
